Guitar lessons for beginners
El Gato Loco Studios is about teaching students of ages 10 and up, the beginning steps of Guitar playing. Basic guitar skills such as, reading guitar tablature, playing notes & chords, pentatonic scales, rhythm, and performance are all part of the introductory curriculum. Lessons are tailored to each student with personal end goals and handwritten music.
A session is 45-50 minutes long with extra time for gear set up & tear down. The student will meet with the instructor once a week at the same time every week. A weekly 1 hour slot will have to be agreed upon between student and instructor.
1 on 1 Session
1 on 1 sessions take place inside El Gato Loco Studios located at 1832 W. Amador Ave. Las Cruces, NM. This is the best type of training for fast & effective learning.
In person sessions allow the instructor and student to play together which help the student pick up on cues, style, and attitude on Guitar playing!
Online Session
Online sessions have become more popular in the last few years. The student can be in the comfort of his/her home, office, or hotel room. Tools such as, Face-time or Zoom, help the instructor and Student connect online.
A smart phone or computer with an attached camera and audio is required for online guitar learning.
Student Showcase
Every year El Gato Loco Studios puts on two seasonal showcases; one in the Summer (June/July) and the other on the first week of December. Students get to participate and show off their hard work to their friends and family.
